Ground School

Galvin Flying currently provides online, and in person, ground school courses for Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Certified Flight Instructor Airplane. Led by our professional ground instructors, our in-depth courses not only prepare you for the FAA written exams, but also provide the background knowledge you need to go forward with a one-on-one flight training program in both our flight training devices (FTDs) and aircraft, ultimately leading to the FAA practical tests that earn you your next certificate or rating.

All courses we offer meet both Part 61 and Part 141 requirements and include 54 hours of instruction, presentation notes & exercises, Jeppesen syllabus, and ASA Test Prep Guide. 

We are currently offering two course schedules that are sure to meet your needs. Our traditional ground school course runs for six weeks, meeting online every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Our new express course runs for three weeks, meeting on Saturdays and Sundays in person.

Our ground school courses are $599. Galvin Preferred Services members pay only $499.
